Why is Lynn Taborsak on your show almost every week now and are you officially supporting the Democratic party this election, because you sure seemed like it last night?

Funny how the anonymous have no problem about Ivon having Matt Grimes and Paul Trippi on the show...two lifelong Republicans.

I just want to say that I was not impressed with the show last night. Having Mrs. Abrantes on was good (I can't help that she wasn't great), but the second part of the show was just terrible. The topic was barely talked about, and there was more Bush bashing (especially by Ivon...I thought he was the host???) than anything else. The topic was Danbury's Democratic party...not President Bush.

Just for the record, if (god for bid) Abrantes was elected Mayor, I would compare that to the Ned Lamont race, not Bush. You see Bush was very strong on the issues people cared about when he ran in '00 and '04. It is very irrelevant to compare him to Abrantes. And, their isn't a "mess in the White House". We are very well protected.

Anybody who takes advantage of every American who follows the law and obeys the rules deserves to be called anything that somebody wants to call them. Either do it right or don't do it at all.

Hmmm, lets see:

Bush administration officials outing a CIA agent,

Hurricane Katrina

Lie of a war in Iraq

The Walter Reed scandal,

Ignoring the signs of 9-11 (remember the memo)

Abu Graiub

...etc, etc, etc.

oh NOOO, there isn't a "mess" in the White House.

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid wingnut.

We have not been attacked since Sept. 11th. Bush is not in the middle of a scandle like Clinton was. He has protected our life. Unemployment is very low. The economy is continuing to get better. Mistakes have been made yes. He is not perfect and very far from it, but I am safe, secure, and my freedoms will always be there under this President. I just don't think that you can compare a Helena Abrantes victory to the Bush admn. Results are happening throughout our country, and our city.

Ah, you don't call the Katrina screw-up a scandal?

How about the cover-up behind the outing of a CIA agent.

How about the lies told to us in the run-up to the war.

How about the illegal wiretaps, secret CIA prisons, torture and ignoring of the Geneva convention, the lack of respect we now have in the world, not keeping our eye on catching Bin-Laden, etc.

Oh yeah, you can ignore that because it didn't HAPPEN UNDER CLINTON'S WATCH.

NEWSFLASH wingnut...the only reason this country hasn't been attacked is BECAUSE AL-QUAEDA takes years to plan and execute a major attack. I think if Clinton was in office, I think he would have paid attention to a memo entitled BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO STRIKE THE U.S.!!!

Poeple like you are part of the problem. Can we get rid of you along with the illegals?

anon 2:08 PM,

Aren't you the DanburyPolitics guy? You write like him.

I agree that Ivon should have focused on the Democratic party in Danbury instead of President Bush. Hopefully this is something that he will to change in the future.
However, I feel that this show alone does not indicate that Ivon is officially supporting the Democratic party this election since he has been out supporting the local Republican party for so many years.

Maybe Ideas at Work and Beyond should be renamed to President Bush and Beyond?

Helena certainly faces an uphill battle, but I wish her the best of luck!
