The show with former Mayor Gene F. Eriquez and Helena Abrantes was very informative, and it was refreshing to see and hear Danbury's former Mayor speak on current and past issues that the city will and have faced in the past. Mrs. Abrantes had a wealth of knowledge about the city's current stance on the Education budget, zoning concerns, and the issue of overcrowdedness that affects the residents' quality of living. The issues were brought to the forefront, and both guests expressed their concerns well. It was one of the better shows regarding city policy. Keep up the good work!

It is obvious you did not see the show last night. It was a great and informative show. You should watch it again once it is posted on this blog. By the way, where are Grimes and Tripi?

If anyone saw the show they would be embarrased for the City that this woman is running. Knowledge is lacking everywhere.

Helena should realise that sitting next to Gene makes her look all the more incompetent. Quite embarassing.....

I wonder if the critical anonymous poster is no other than the disgruntled Matt Grimes himself.
That would explain everything...

I just came over here from Hat City Blog and I have to say that ctblogger and you did a great job with the redesign.
I like the fact that I can watch the show online. Keep up the good work.

Not only is the show embarrassing but so is this site. "Overcrowdedness" is not a word.

Ivon I beg of you to do your homework and ask competant questions. Mrs. Abrantes is clueless and your questions weren't much better.

1. Why does there need to be a Republican night. If you want that, watch Lynn Waller's crappy show.
2. Seems like the pro-Boughton trolls (i.e. Matt Grimes) have invaded this site. Seeing that most of the critical comments came within at least two minutes of each other (4:09 and 4:09; 8:40, 8:42), it's fair to assume that it's the same idiot. Maybe if Grimes didn't flat-out lie on air and spout talking points given to him from the Mayor and Joe Cavo, he still be on the show.
3. Helena has great and very insightful, I can't wait to here more from her as the campaign gets underway.
4. For a new show, I think Ivon has come a long way and is only getting better.
