What are Helena Abrantes's views on global warming?
What would you do to fix the current lack of child care in the Danbury area.
Does Abrantes plan to have more recreational programs for the youth of Danbury? Currently, there are very few programs.
I'd like to know Helena's views on the mayor's budget. Seeing that State Sen. David Cappiello called Boughton's moving up the date of the budget "irresponsible" and Rep. Godfrey calling the budget a "folly", I want to know is Helena think it was right for the mayor to present a budget so early that based on imaginary figures from the governor's budget?
When did the Democrats declare war on the republicans and vice versa to the detriment of the general public?
Will you encourage employers to come to Danbury who pay a livable wage and provide benefits? This does not include box stores and fast food restaurants.
Will you stop the city government from hiring part-time people for 19 hours a week to avoid paying benefits and holidays?
Will provide tax incentives to developers to build low income housing?
Will you continue to follow the implementation of the Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness?
Will you support the new Bottle Bill or will you start enforcing the current recycling laws?
Would you allow low income families to use parks and recreation facilities for free?

Currently there are different water rates for residents in Danbury. Some residents are paying commercial rate. Would you accept this practice or would you change it?
Do you support the Mayor's proposed tax increase?
Danbury lacks minority teachers. Do you plan to fix that problem?
What are your feelings about Common Council and other city meetings being telecast on television?

The budget process this year, as usual, was ridiculous. What would Mayor Abrantes do differently to make sure the voters have a voice in the process? Would it require a change in the charter to make the whole process more public, e.g. public meetings where voters can hear the discussion between the finance director and department heads on what money they want and what they will do with it.
