The Marty Heiser Show

The Fleecing of Danbury, CT?

Friday, June 15, 2007

The comment bellow is worth investigating. If anyone has more information, please email it to me at makenews@yahoo.com

This property was once owned by the city of danbury and given for FREE to a non profit. The non profit got approvals and sold it for 70k. Two Danbury men with close connections to city hall, Dan Dibuono and Dick Ramey purchased it and in less than a year flipped it for a 300k Profit. think about it.

The above comment came from a comment made from the Thursday, June 07, 2007 post "Elmer’s Diner: The Community Diner."

Update:
I will do a show in July on Organizations that get free properties from the city and sell the properties to individuals who sell the same properties for urge profits. If anyone knows more deals like this please mail them to me at makenews@yahoo.com

Are all these people connected?

The property transfer information is on the City of Danbury website. Click on "Links for Danbury Residents" and then "Assessor's Online Database." Elmer's address is 22 Padanaram Rd.
As to the connections among all "these people" and even who exactly "these people" are? Remains to be seen.

Mr. Ramey is a campaign contributor of Mr. Boughton.

Thanks Chris. I reviewed the information (links) you provided and it looks like that is exactly what happened.

Other than Mr. Dibuona of Brookfield and Mr. Ramey of Danbury who else made money on this?

How did the cancer place get free property at the "Reserve" and how were they able to sell property they received for free from the city? who was behind that?

Mr. Ramey is a campaign contributer of the Democrats.

Why didn't the Democrats put in the terms of the transfer that this property can only be used as a cancer center if not, the property reverts back to the City? Duh?

if mr. ramey (same ramey involved in the dyer scandal?) donates to democrats it is all the more reason to be suspicious.

because according to the record, ramey’s construction company made a significant contribution to mayor boughton in february 2004. Just four months before Mr. Ramey purchased the padanaram road property at the reduced rate of 75k, property he sold to deplama for 475k!!!!just months later. remember this is the property the city owned and donated for free.

side note: ramey’s company made that contribution the very same day AWD made one of their many.

That would be the same AWD that donated to Chris Setaro, Tom Arconti, Joe Lieberman,Lew Wallace, Bob Godfrey and the Democratic Town Committee?

Hmmm. If only the Democrats were not in such a rush to kiss up to Anne's Place and actually thought things through, we would not have an Elmer's...

Look who the lobbyist was working on these campaigns and ask yourself do you want him back in government or will he also rat on Galante and Boughton.

the same democratic lobbyist who donated money to mark boughton?

the same person who served as town chairman of the democratic party and DONATED money to republican mark boughton?

you may want to ask yourself, WHY?
